Construction contracts now include a statutory right to adjudication, and all parties have the right to call up an adjudication in non-domestic circumstances. An adjudication can be settled relatively quickly, so it can be a cost effective solution. Gordon Gibb has been on the RIAS Panel of Adjudicators since 2011, and has had extensive experience making decisions in cases of construction disputes.

 

Arbitration is a quasi-legal process which can be used as an alternative to court action. Gordon Gibb has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators since 2009 and, as an arbitrator, can impose a decision in a dispute which can be enforced through the courts.
