Gibb Architects have worked on a number of commercial projects in the past, the most prestigious of these to date was the restoration and extension to the India of Inchinnan building. The forms of the spaces throughout the extension are aeronautical in nature, with the underside of the roof over the atrium constructed as an exact replica of an R34 airship, which had formerly been constructed on the site. Our innovative and award winning design of the extension was created to complement our careful restoration of the existing Art Deco structure, whilst also offering ample office space. Our approach to commercial development and architecture is to combine inspirational concepts with practical building and fabrication specifications. Added to our effective project management and in depth knowledge of modern building practices, makes for smooth progress to a profitable development.
